Emily and Diana presenting Juvenile Sebastian for "Summer Reading Program" (1999)

Library patrons will enjoy hearing about reptile history, basic biology, ecology, conservation, rescue, history and much more. Talks may include reptile influence on folklore and mythology. Children's literacy programs include suggestions for reading material; and may include a special reading by our Critter Co-ordinator, Diana.

Presentations are usually 1 - 1.5 hours long and includes between 8 to 10 reptiles; lizards, snakes, turtles/tortoises. All animals are familiar with public presentations and handling.

Question/Answer opportunites abound. Up close previewing of the smaller animals allowed, and interaction with the larger snakes and lizards promoted. (Sanitizer is provided and required for those who interact with reptiles) Photos opportunities encouraged.
