BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Tired of clowns, expensive "Cheesey" Mice, and looking for something different for your kid's party? How about a day to never forget?

Really wrap yourself in a Boa, snuggle up to a Komodo look- alike... and let your kids learn while they play....

Party like a Zoo Star!

Let your party kids have a blast while learning about reptiles from around the world! They'll learn important tidbits about reptiles, as well as all those gross, weird and disgusting things that kids just LOVE to hear.. like geckos lick their eyeballs clean!

We'll bring reptiles from 5 different continents and introduce them one by one to the children. Making the day special for your child, the birthday child gets to get up close and personal with nearly every reptile. The other kids get to see all the animals up close, and even interact with many of the larger reptiles.

The birthday child and parents delight with many photos opportunities as he or she gets to meet, pet and hold nearly animal, but that's not all.... all the party kids get to "stretch" one of our large snakes across their arms; a great way to feel that really amazing snake skin and super strength, and of course, a wonderful photo opportunity! And everyone gets to meet our large lizards, including our Green Iguana and various monitors.

Special guests reptiles may visit... including a chameleon, a blue tongued skink, uromastyx or gray banded kingsnake.

It is a fun, exciting and ~ parents, dare I say it ~ educational party for your kids. One not to be forgotten any time soon. Take a moment to look beyond the myth of reptiles and let your children explore and enjoy the reality of these amazing animals!

Stretch out a Snake! (gently, of course)

See more about Monitors

No, not really. Sebastian is a White Throated Monitor - Varanus albigularis. The Komodo Dragon  is a Varanus komodensis. Both are Varanid Lizards, making them cousins that look an awful lot alike. Fortunately for us, the Komodo Dragon is the only Varanid with the lethal bacterial saliva. Sebastian has been known to drool some slimy saliva, but its harmless, just like him.

Sebastian passed away in 2006, leaving an amazing legacy as an approachable interactive animal who opened the world of giant reptiles to young children. He is terribly missed and remembered at every party and show we attend.

Like all greats before him, Sebastian opened the door for other giant lizards to have an opportunity to share their amazing stories with the kids.

Junkanoo was the 'heir apparent' for just such a job. A "long lost cousin", this Water Monitor is a Southeast Asian lizard who will eventualy match Sebastian in size. Sadly, Junkanoo, passed away in 2010. As his predecessor did, Junkanoo left a deep impression on the many children he met and who loved him.

The space is there for yet another Monitor Ambassador. As yet, we have had a few guest ambassadors, but we are always wondering when we will get to share yet another beautiful animal to love and enjoy.

Max N's October Birthday

What did Max's Mom have to say?....

" Me...not particularly being fond of snakes- I now have a new respect for them. Sharing the boa constrictor with everyone was wonderful. I think the way you presented very well what happens to reptiles when they are bought, then grow up. The comparison of sizes was great - small to Maximus size. ..... The time spent with each animal was also good."
